There are two basic methods of constructing a pommel. They can be used to create a large number of pommels. Round (wrap) pommels can recreate the Gladius Pommel, or Scent Stopper Pommels, and Flat (sandwiched) pommels include disks, crescents, and many more shapes. The routed pommel can produce many shapes, but is best for making thinner flat shapes.

Round Pommels are appropriate on almost every weapon. Flat and routed pommels are best on swords.
